For more control within your company over the documents sent and signed, Leeway allows you to set up workflows in a few clicks by creating approval conditions at different stages of the negotiation cycle.

Leeway allows you to create 2 different types of workflows:

To access it, go to the "Templates" tab in the left-hand menu. Click on the template for which you want to set up a procedure and then on the "Workflows" tab.

Approval workflows

You have the possibility to create approval workflows at several moments of the negotiation process: before sending a document to the other party and/or before launching the signing of the contract.

Regardless of when an approval workflow is triggered, you can choose between 2 types of approval: simple approval and/or conditional approval.

Create a simple approval workflow

A simple approval is triggered for each new document created before sending or signing.

1️⃣ Go to the "Workflows" tab and click on "Set up this step" for the approval time (before sending / before signing) you want.

2️⃣ Choose "Simple approval" as the approval type for your step ;

3️⃣ Choose the approver;

4️⃣ Add more approvers if needed ;

5️⃣ Save this step.

Create a conditional approval workflow

A conditional approval is triggered under certain conditions.

1️⃣ Go to the "Workflows" tab and click on "Set up this step" for the approval time (before sending / before signing) you want.

2️⃣ Choose "Conditional Approval" as the approval type for your step ;

3️⃣ Fill in the approver;

4️⃣ Define the conditions of approval;

5️⃣ Add more steps (other conditions and/or other approvers) if you want ;

6️⃣ Save this step.

You now have control over sending and signing your contracts 🎉

👆🏼 You can delete existing workflows at any time, simply by clicking on the workflow in question, then "Delete".
