✍️ Your contract has been signed outside Leeway?

Here's how to store it in your contract library in a few minutes, so you can keep track of it and not miss any deadlines.

Step 1: Create a project

1️⃣ Click on the blue "+ New Project" button (bottom left),

2️⃣ Select the option "Store a signed contract".

3️⃣ Select the type of contract from those available in your company.

💡 If your contract does not match any of these contract types, you can click on "None of these contract types".

4️⃣ Fill in the basic contract information and upload the signed PDF.

5️⃣ Validate by clicking on "Create the project" on the top right.

Step 2: Fill in the contract fields/values

Depending on what has been set up by the administrators of your organization, you will have fields to fill in, more or less, in order to be able to follow the main dates and information of the contract.

The fields to be filled in are in the column on the right:

👉 In the "Dates and renewal" section, fill in the dates, duration of the contract, renewal and notice period info.

👉 In the "Custom attributes" section, fill in the fields related to the contract that have been set up by your administrators.

How to fill in the fields?

It's very simple, just click on "Add".

Step 3: Find the signed contract

There are several places to find the signed PDF of the contract:

  • In the Activity Feed

  • In the "Files" tab of the project

  • By clicking on "View signed document" at the top right.

Step 4: Create reminders to avoid missing deadlines

Automatically, when you have specified a fixed duration and a forecast, Leeway will automatically schedule a reminder 1 month before the start of the notice period.

You can also add as many customized reminders as you like by clicking on "Add a reminder" (see above).
